The Genesee Transportation Council conducted the Regional Traffic Count Collection Program to obtain traffic count information for non-state, federal-aid eligible roadways and select local roadways for the purposes of tracking long-term traffic growth and supporting transportation decision making in the nine-county Genesee-Finger Lakes Region. Counts were collected in 2008 and 2009 in accordance with current New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Traffic Monitoring Standards.
